District Attorney

Keith Miller

As District Attorney of the 19th Circuit Court District, Keith Miller is responsible for the prosecution of all felony cases in Jackson, George and Greene Counties. Prior to taking office in January, 2000, Mr. Miller was prosecutor for the City of Ocean Springs.

 

His previous experience includes three years of private practice, two years as a prosecutor in the District Attorney's Office of the 19th Circuit Court District and service as a prosecutor in the Coast Regional Drug Prosecution Unit.

 

The District Attorney also served an internship in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office in Jackson, Mississippi.

 

A graduate of Our Lady of Victories High School in Pascagoula, he received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and Juris Doctorate degree from the Mississippi College School of Law, where he received the Best Oral Advocate Award and was a member of the National Moot Court  and National Trial Competition Teams.
